An extended essay is about 4000 words research essay, it is mandatory for the IB diploma programme. It is an important part of the IB diploma program curriculum. It can be written freely on any topic. The aim of the essay is to provide the students an opportunity of independent research. The Essay topic should be motivating. The essay should be written after indepth understanding of the topic and subject. The ideas presented in the essay should be logical and very straight forward.
